Once again an incredible experience. Brought some friends and they loved it! Best ice cream around and the sandwiches were creative and exquisite. Very home vibe going on, positive music, nice decor and such a nostalgic atmosphere. Love the owners, they are not just operating an incredible local business, they are incredible people full of love and have such a heart for the community. THANK YOU Mitch and Gina, always a pleasure to visit :)

Lickity Split is a cafe located in the Old Kauffman's Hardware building, owned by Mitch and Gina Dissinger. Also known as the 'Town Scoop,' the menu offers appetizers (nachos, baby potato cakes, quesadillas, etc.), soups/wraps, sandwiches, salads, and sundaes. Food is similar to any typical cafe, and the place seems to be a favorite for the tourists who want something outside of the Amish fare. They also have 2 ice cream trucks and provides catering services. +sandwiches and wraps +sundae options +ice cream trucks available

The only way this place could get any better is if they had a unicorn petting zoo (please just consider it). Funky eclectic style, nice menu selection (get the steak stuffed pretzel though with the steak sauce), friendly and fast service, and food served fresh and hot! I was unfortunately too stuffed from dinner to eat icecream (keep that in mind when ordering) but love their selection and every dessert they served looked delicious. All around CHARMING!

This is my daughter's favorite place to eat - so we stop in occasionally. The food is good - nothing spectacular - but good. I usually get the Cheesesteak pretzel or the Thanksgiving sandwich, my daughter goes for the pretzel and the hubby usually goes for the pretzel or quesadillas. Everything comes with chips, blah. I do find the food a bit pricey. For drinks - I love the Italian sodas! Awesome, awesome drink! Dinner service can be slow at times. Though the staff is always very friendly, wait times to place drink orders and food orders can be lengthy...depends on the night and the server. It seems the wait staff gets a bit overwhelmed during the dinner rush. The ice cream sundaes are the main attraction here. Creative, cute and delicious sundae combinations or create your own. My daughters eyes light up when she gets her sundae with crushed oreos & gummy worms. This is the place for ice cream - we love it! Probably the best ice cream sundaes we've ever had! Definitely recommend stopping by and grabbing a few sundaes. Have an Italian soda too. Laid back, friendly vibe and cool decor with a local flair. Parking in back.

Don't miss this charming cafe! The menu is sandwich and soup fare. Don't let this fool you they have some creative flavors that are super tasty! Save room for ice cream, it's excellent. The staff was very friendly and attentive. They have gluten free bread that can be substituted for any sandwich. However, be careful if you are highly sensitive to wheat, the ice cream is served with a pretzel on the top. I didn't know this ahead of time and didn't know to ask them to skip it for me, I just removed it and plowed through into my ice cream, yummy! Our family would come back in a heartbeat if ever in the area again.

Very cute place. The restaurant has a small selection of food. I got the roast turkey sandwich and it was very good! Also the cookie bottom sundae was to die for. Definitely recommend if you're in the area!

I've only eaten here once so far, since I just started working in the area. I had the roasted turkey which is made fresh daily. One of the sandwiches was recommended on the menu. It was excellent. This place is a bit pricey, which is why I haven't been there 3-4 times by now. It's also on the other side of town, which with all the lights takes a while to get to from Shirk Rd. I'll update my review if I go back and try other menu options, which I'm sure I will do eventually.

Poor lunch experience. Waiter intolerably slow. As in we waited at least 15 min before he took our order. Maryland clam chowder was a bland tomato soup without much crab. Sandwich (Reuben) was good. Retro decor is cute and ice cream may be good but didn't have any more time to try and see. Definitely won't be back.

Fantastic place to eat. Great food and a great atmosphere! They have delicious, local specialties and other great lunch/dinner items to choose from. A nice selection of ice creams, sundaes, and desserts. There is a lot of history displayed around the restaurant. The owners are great!

Great little place with a cool small town vibe. The ice cream sundaes were good and very reasonably priced. Would definitely stop by again if I was in the neighborhood.

Really love this place...staff is always friendly. The owners are a compassionate couple who are committed to their guests and the community. Decor is fun, funky, and upbeat. Great place to take the kids or a quick business lunch as well. They do an excellent job with catering as well.

This is an excellent restaurant! I really enjoy the homemade pretzel sandwiches, particularly the pulled pork. I would recommend saving room for ice cream or a milk shake as well. Their portions on everything are generous and their prices are very reasonable for what you get. I would expect to spend about $25 on a meal for two hungry adults. Everything is made fresh to order. I highly recommend this home town staple.

Hard to just call it a "hole in the wall" or even just a sandwich shoppe. Try the "trimmers tribute" so good. Homemade soup and a great value. We are on vacation and came here on a recommendation. Wish we had something like this in CT

Great food and great atmosphere. I had a Cuban sandwich that was excellent. Very fresh, with nice pig chunks of pickle. They also serve generous scoops of Leiby's ice cream. I especially loved the decorations. Plenty of eye candy to keep you occupied while you wait for your food. The tables are covered with old newspaper articles from the local region. My newspaper articles were from 1971.

The sandwiches are excellent - the ham and turkey club I ordered (The name escapes me) had fresh sliced turkey and ham - NOT lunch meat. My companion's sandwich was also excellent. And both were generous portions. They offer alternatives to chips including a grain salad that was good and interesting without being odd :) We both had sundaes - excellent with generous scoops of ice cream and toppings. The prices are VERY reasonable and the shop is cute. Parking in the back of the store.
